The term eBook stands for electronic book. It is basically a book in digital form that can be read on your PC. They come in many formats including PDF, exe and Word.
Do I need any special software to read an eBook?

For eBooks in PDF format, you need Acrobat Reader 7 or higher, which can be obtained from www.adobe.com. eBooks in Word format will require Microsoft Word. Some eBooks come in exe format which can be read on any Windows PC. (but NOT Mac)
You will also need extracting software such as Winzip ( www.winzip.com ) to unpack your purchase from the ZIP folder that it will arrive in.

The output of the eBook-creating software for this particular ebook is an .exe file. This is merely to allow the book to be executed without the need of any other software program. The file is safe to run on any computer.
